Split

You may need to split a track if the tracking goes askew in a particular frame or if the tracking has switched to another individual/object.

  1. Ensure you are in the right video frame and pause the video.

  2. Click on their orange redaction box. The corresponding orange bar will be highlighted in the Timeline.

  3. Click Split from the Toolbar.

    • Keyboard shortcut: S

  4. Once the track is split, choose to:

    • Delete a half (click Delete in the Toolbar). Then, continue tracking the individual using the Tracker feature.

    • If the tracking issue was that it has switched to another individual, work from the Timeline to easily solve this. Drag the Track’s 2nd half into the corresponding row of the individual it was tracking.
